3D prints attempt WIP

This is me trying to remember what I learned at the start of the year because I forgot booo. Keeping notes because I will forget again.

By chance I found out that there was an online event on BOOTH where artists could sell their GKs and going through the catalogue out of curiousity was very inspiring? I thought to myself "No one will ever cater to my taste except me!" even though that's something I always knew (stupid!) so this is where I ended up feeling motivated or maybe even spiteful again.

I considered a lot of stuff I'd love to do eventually but wanted to settle with something doable first. Their tails are supposed to shape a heart when sat next to each other.

General Blender setup.

Blocking out shape.

Useful shortcuts I will probably forget.

At some point I spent a day with legwork to register with the public libraries. Some of them have 3D printers for use.

I desperately looked for an alternative way to do the hair. There is none. Bezier curve is seemingly the best modeling option.
Arrange the hair strands to the hair flow. Side bangs should somewhat follow the x-axis? Follow basic anatomy (suffer)
Also Ctrl+R to add geometry and model a proper chin.

I was surprised to see how the light from above would fall and reflect on the lower half of face with this. Weird how much aligning the hair strands did. Cool!

So how the f do I actually do this.
